The usage:
Bioreactor of a Trigger Kompo BioRed type is designed for utilization of a waste biomass using the composting method, including wet waste using the Trigger-4S technology.

Operation terms:
  • Temperature: -40 to 60oC (outside)
  • Humidity: 0-100%
  • Solar radiation: b/o
  • Precipitation: clearing out of snow required
The description of a structure:
The fundamental element of the bioreactor is the folding shell of the container. To this shell are installed other functional units of the bioreactor, such as:
  • the top of the side walls include an uplifted shelter which closes the bioreactor,
  • the side walls use the mechanism, which lower or uplift the discharge flaps covered with fairing,
  • on the hinged lower part of the container are two discharge flaps (left and right) which, after the process of composting, unload the bioreactor,
  • on one of the side walls are installed: a box with an air blower, controllers and a recorder,
  • the bottom of the shell is equipped with the aeration system.
Bioreactor is set on a rack metal construction.

Components:
The container is built from the polyester-glass and vinyloester-glass composites. The construction is reinforced by various materials, continuous filaments (roving), mats. When it comes to a sandwich structured composites - they are used only where necessary. The inner surface of the container is covered with vinyloester chemically resistant coating. The surface on the outside is layered with a polyester resin. The integral metal elements of the bioreactor (ferrules, flap's hinges) are both secured by anticorrosive layer or made of stainless steel.

The assembly of the bioreactor:
Bioreactor of a Trigger Kompo BioRed type is assembled - depending on the load capacity needed - from the suitable number of the container's shells. These can be combined with each other in any quantity. There are two possible ways of joining shells of the container:
  • Enlarging the load capacity of the bioreactor's charge chamber by removing wall dividers between the containers: the chamber's load capacity depends on the number of joined container's shells.
  • Reduction of the occupied area - assembled bioreactors are combined with each other by wall dividers. Containers can be separated, which enables later varied combinations or even extension of the device.

Manual (in short)

Using bioreactor of a Trigger Kompo BioRed type requires preliminary preparation of raw composting mass, which is compatible with the technology regulations. Proper exploitation of the bioreactor consists of three phases: loading, composting and unloading.

Loading:
This phase should start from the opening of the shelter which closes the bioreactor. In order to do so, use the lever connected to the side cover. Only in that case the opened bioreactor is ready to use. Loading should be done with the use of a belt feeder or other, which constantly (not with portions) passes the composting mass. It should be noted that the changing of the charge place during the loading is required in order to regularly spread the composting mass in the bioreactor. The maximum level of loading must not be exceeded. WARNING!: It is forbidden to load the bioreactor by loader, excavator or other similar device.

Composting:
The composting process is controlled automatically and does not require any manual operations. Only the temperature of compost needs temporary monitoring.

Unloading:
Before the unloading prepare the feeder or bagging machine and set it under the discharge flap. Next, unlock the flap and start slowly lower it. The compost pours out from the bioreactor while opening - use this situation to load the bagging machine gradually until the flop is opened totally. Do not open the flop at once.
WARNING!: Under no circumstances close the flop, when bioreactor is not entirely empty. This can damage the bioreactor and cause a potential danger to the staff! When unloading from one flop is finished, the second flop can be opened in the same way as previously described. Compost leftovers should be taken out by plastic or rubber sticks. Do not use metal sticks, or devices with metal endings. While the process of unloading is finished clean the bioreactor out of the compost, close and secure the flaps.
